Students currently attending Dalhousie are automatically assessed for renewal of their scholarship or an in-course scholarship.
Renewable Scholarships. You're automatically assessed for renewal of your scholarship each summer and advised of your status by mail.
In-Course Scholarships. These range in value from $500 - $3,000. You'll be notified of an in-course scholarship by mail in mid-September. Mature and Transfer students are considered following one year of study at Dalhousie.
SGPA(Scholarship Grade Point Average) cutoffs and scholarship amounts vary from year to year. Possession of minimum requirements doesn't guarantee an award. The overall scholarship budget and performance of Dalhousie students are some of the factors affecting the SGPA cutoff in a given year.
The First Nations and Indigenous Black Scholarship
This scholarship is open to both new and transfer students from Nova Scotia, new Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island. Interested students should submit a complete General Entrance Award Application.

eligibility criteria and may not be the same as those posted here or in
the Undergraduate Calendar. Please check with your faculty if criteria
are not specified in the description.
For both renewable or in-course scholarships, you need to have:
